LIGHT HARMONIC WARRANTY POLICY

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Duration & Scope

Light Harmonic ("Company") provides a THREE(3) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on all automotive speaker products and  TWO (2) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on all other products when purchased from Light Harmonic or an Authorized Reseller. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions from the date of original delivery.
 

What's Covered

  • Manufacturing Defects: Flaws in materials or assembly that affect product function

  • Workmanship Issues: Problems resulting from the manufacturing process

  • Component Failures: Internal parts that fail under normal operating conditions

  • Functional Malfunctions: Product not performing as designed specifications
     

What's NOT Covered

  • Physical Damage: Drops, impacts, crushing, or other physical trauma

  • Water/Liquid Damage: Exposure to moisture, spills, or submersion

  • Misuse or Abuse: Use beyond normal operating parameters

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Alterations, repairs, or tampering by non-authorized personnel

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Cosmetic scratches, fading, or aging that doesn't affect function

  • Environmental Damage: Extreme temperatures, humidity, or corrosive conditions

  • Power Issues: Damage from power surges, incorrect voltage, or electrical problems

  • Accidental Damage: Incidents not related to manufacturing defects
     

WARRANTY ELIGIBILITY

Purchase Requirements

  • Authorized Purchase: Must be purchased from Light Harmonic or an Authorized Reseller

  • Original Purchaser Only: Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer

  • Proof of Purchase Required: Original receipt, packing slip, or order confirmation must be provided

Geographic Coverage

  • United States: Full warranty coverage within the continental US

  • International: Coverage may vary by region; contact local authorized dealer

  • Shipping Costs: Customer responsible for shipping to service center (we cover return shipping)
     

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Before You Contact Us

  • Troubleshooting: Try basic troubleshooting steps outlined in your user manual

  • Documentation: Gather your proof of purchase and product serial number

  • Problem Description: Prepare a detailed description of the issue

  • Photos/Videos: Document the problem if visually apparent

How to File a Claim

  1. Contact Customer Service: email cs@lightharmonic.com

  2. Provide Information: Share purchase details, serial number, and problem description

  3. Receive RMA Number: We'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number

  4. Ship Product: Send item to our service center with RMA number attached

  5. Evaluation: Our technicians will assess the warranty claim

  6. Resolution: Repair, replacement, or return within 10-15 business days
     

Required Information for Claims

  • Product Model: Specific model name and part number

  • Serial Number: Located on product label or packaging (if available)

  • Purchase Date: Date of original purchase

  • Purchase Location: Store or website where purchased

  • Problem Description: Detailed explanation of the malfunction

  • Proof of Purchase: Receipt, invoice, or order confirmation number
     

WARRANTY REMEDIES

Repair Service

  • Primary Option: We will attempt to repair the defective product when possible

  • Genuine Parts: All repairs use authentic Light Harmonic components

  • Quality Assurance: Repaired products undergo full testing before return

  • Service Timeline: Most repairs completed within 10-15 business days
     

Replacement Options

  • Equivalent Product: If repair isn't feasible, we'll provide an equivalent replacement 

  • Refurbished Units: Warranty replacements may be refurbished units in excellent condition

  • Cosmetic Condition: Replacement units may have minor cosmetic blemishes that don't affect function

  • Discontinued Models: May be replaced with current equivalent or upgraded models

  • Same Warranty Period: Replacements carry the remainder of the original warranty period
     

No-Cost Resolution

  • Parts and Labor: No charge for covered warranty repairs

  • Return Shipping: We pay for shipping repaired/replacement items back to you

  • Technical Support: Free technical assistance throughout the warranty period
     

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

Legal Limitations

  • Express Warranty Only: This warranty replaces all other warranties, express or implied

  • Implied Warranty Duration: Any implied warranties are limited to the duration of this express warranty

  • Consequential Damages: Light Harmonic is not liable for incidental or consequential damages

  • State Law Variations: Some states don't allow limitations on implied warranties; restrictions may not apply to you
     

Damage Exclusions

  • Consumable Parts: Batteries, fuses, and other consumable components have separate coverage

  • Software Issues: Software problems may require updates rather than hardware replacement

  • Compatibility: Issues arising from incompatibility with other equipment

  • User Error: Problems resulting from incorrect installation or operation
     

AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRES

Paid Repair Service

  • Out-of-Warranty Repairs: Available for reasonable fees

  • Diagnostic Service: Problem assessment and repair estimates

  • Parts Availability: Replacement parts available for reasonable periods after discontinuation

  • Upgrade Options: Trade-in programs may be available for discontinued products
