Both Light Harmonic and Tesla OEM speakers use a low impedance design to handle more power and provide greater volume. This design is particularly beneficial in vehicles where background noise is a factor. Low impedance speakers, generally rated below 3 or even 2 ohms, can draw more current from the amplifier, converting more energy into sound rather than heat. This results in higher volume output and better sound quality. Additionally, low impedance improves transient response, allowing for more accurate sound reproduction. Our products match the size, brackets, and screw holes perfectly, making installation easy for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. All speaker models from 2014 to 2023 for Model S and from 2016 to 2023 for Model X are fully compatible. Amplifier models from 2014 to 2021 for Model S are also compatible.
